Krista is the inaugural/ongoing (2023-present) Vunja Artist in Residence for the entangled ecosystems of The Emergence Network and Dancing With Mountains. For the 2023 iteration of We Will Dance With Mountains: Vunja!, an online post-activist worldwide course-carnival, Krista created on-camera live drawings, sensorial documents of the WWWWM convenings.

Sensorium I, Sensorium III, Dancing in the Afrocene, The Minor Gesture, Hears in Red, Sees in Wet, Getting Lost in the Forest, Sawubona. All works 11”x14”, materials include: walnut inks and dyes, watercolors, a variety of ink pens, pencils, mushroom prints, rubbings, tracings, and found materials.
